Nani
The most numerous of the khuldings are the dwarf species. Among them are the dvaer (commonly called "hill dwarves"), the vadumites ("mountain dwarves"), and the khedraags ("duergar" or "gray dwarves"). It is possible that other species of dwarves exist, unknown to the surface world.

Anatomy
Dwarves are of short stature with stout bodies. They are well adapted to small, tight, dark spaces.
Genetics and Reproduction
Dwarves reproduce sexually, with their prime fertility between sixty-five and one hundred thirty years of age. Females will generally produce a child every thirty-five years, on average.
