Magister thaumios, saint, Aridia riv Arthima (a.k.a. The meridian dream-blade. the human Athrian. Saint Aridia. Polaris crusader)
Physical Description
She is a soldier, high strength, a bit slow but good stamina. She is more muscular than the average lady of her age, but as a soldier it is the norm.
She has her fair share of scars from the witch's battle, especially around her liver, where she was pierced. Other than that, she is ripped like a man.
It's maybe the only feminine thing on her, her face. Pretty eyes with long lashes, and dark green irises. Really beautiful thin lips, that always shows a terrible grin of a warrior, not very glamorous.
The Aetheric veil she wears, giving her a reddish aura around her. A long tattoo on her right arm ending on the back of her hand, the mark of Polaris. Her golden armour and her jet black sword, Calystril, in a pretty blue and silver sheathe.
The power of a dream-dancer is personal and linked to their traumas and dreams. She has the ability to draw aether chains, bend time to her advantage, and froze a little spot. And the power shared to all dream-dancer, the all seeing eye of Polaris.
Most of the time when she is not a paladin, she lives with common Meridian clothing. Sometimes she even thinks about putting earrings, but never actually do.
Golden armour, magical sword, aether veil, something worthy of a demi-god.
Mental characteristics
Born in the Arthima family, noble of
Alia, form a half-dwarf father who is the personal mage of the king, and a
Half-elf Mother Archaeologist; being the first one of four daughters, she grew up with quite a character. Mouthful, reckless, she loved to fight and was often sleeping in class, when she was present (not often). At fourteen, she got expelled, then her dad sent her to military school at sixteen. Between the two she was working as a barmaid in her mom's tavern.
Once at twenty years old, she entered as a rookie of Alian guards. Then the Event of the century happened, Shaar got freed and an amnesiac
Athrian came in her manor. She visited the
Akeidre Archipelago, the island of Mer'id, following this strange person, and became a dream-dancer, unwillingly. Considered a deserter to the army, she had the right of redemption by becoming a paladin. Working now for the Onirem family directly, she saved the world by defeating
the silver-blood witch. Since then, she is considered a saint, to her displease, and slowly lost her humanity to become a sort of half-Ahtrian being.
Despite her personal history she is quite knowledgable, with age she took more will to learn, except not by the way of school. Learning by herself by travelling, and listening to her sisters and
Aquiria Onirem. She actually knows a lot on each country and their customs. But she still not knows how to divide.
She started as a squire of the Meridian army, and is now a full-fledged Autonomous paladin, working for the Onirem family.
Saving the world by killing an immortal witch. Twice. becomming a demi-goddess
Still lack official level of a normal Meridian student of her age in terms of school, especially in maths, History and geography. though, she tend not to think about it much.
She died twice in a dream bubble, from the advanced torture of Kenariah.
She seems like a brute, but she is actually very clever, and know a lot of things on the culture and history of Naredim and Athria, from Aquiria.
She is straight, and hates to lie. She may lack a bit of etiquette, but she is frank and say what she thinks. Furthermore, she will always do her best to protect the other, even if it means risking her life; she possesses tremendous powers, better uses them for greater goods.
She doesn't have taboo, she hates intrigues, especially romantic ones, but it's only disinterest.
Personality Characteristics
She doesn't have a lot of motivation, most of the time it's her family and friends who give her something to do.
She likes knowledges and history, and yet she hates reading books. She likes fighting, a lot. Furthermore, she loves her sisters, and her friends, especially Quarhnia.
She dislikes the fact that she is a demi-god, feeling less and less need to sleep, drink or eat, she does miss being tired and hungry.
Strong enough to beat anyone in any sparring contest. A true friend to anyone who is not afraid of her strong personality. a true guardian of the world, protecting everything as much as she can.
She likes fighting way too much; she often feels a bit lazy. She sometime would want to be a normal human, her power being from a god, and herself becoming less human; She is afraid of immortality more than death.
Social
Lot of friend, notably, the director of Mortensen BPC in Alkalia, a rakri count, and the Matriarch of Akeidre. And the entirety of onirem familly. She especially created a fusional bond with Quarhina Onirem the youngest of the family.
She has a great bond with her sisters, and her parents.
She is the only paladin of Polaris in history. The Irony is that she always wanted to be Atheist
She is very charismatic, however a bit harsh. Her ego is fluctuant between what her friends force her to be (egocentric) and what she really wants to be. She lacks etiquette and have the mannerism of a farmer (despite being a noble from a big family).
Aridia is often a loudmouth, however she will never say things that she doesn't really think, or promises things she knows she won't do. Despite being the daughter of a noble family, and her post as paladin, she acts like a farmer's daughter, not to say, like a man. She is ready to fight at any offence, and she is most of the time way too muscular for her adversaries. She has a very direct way of talking, and sometimes forget that people hear her, and speak a bit loud.
Her sword may count as a pet. She likes fighting, going around with her sisters and friends, and explore the world; despite her problems with school, she is way more curious than what she pretend, and likes to explore unknown and historical places, just so Aquiria would tell her what's hidden behind.
Loud, yet feminine voice, with a little Athrian accent, (that fact still startle her as a human). She often switch from Alian accent to more provincial accent for no reason (and that makes her laugh). In any case she tends to be quite joyful in general.
