The Jovial Juggler

Located on the west side of Beregost's main road, the inn was easily recognizable. It featured a grand roofboard depicting a juggling jester that could hardly be missed.

The Jovial Juggler is one of the larger buildings in the city proper, comprising an inn, tavern, and multiple entertainment spaces. It is THE hotspot for the younger, party-minded set and the premier live music venue in Beregost. The recent addition of a fighting pit has introduced another lucrative angle to the establishment. Both the clergy of Lathander and the Flaming Fist have had to pay increased attention of late to the rowdy behaviour of patrons of this establishment and there are concerns that the revelry it promotes may provide cover for criminal elements to operate.

If you're looking for a place to stay and dine, you could do better, but Volo's rated it a solid 3/5 pipes. Apparently Volo's hearing might not be the best, because the place stays loud into the wee hours on most nights.

Alterations

Originally constructed as your run-of-the-mill inn and tavern, The Juggler has expanded considerably over its 150 plus years of operation. The first addition was a modest stage, designed to house a small performing ensemble. As the only entertainment venue in the growing town, its popularity soon necessitated an expansion and relocation of the stage along with additional seating. This gave way to a dance floor and dressing rooms for the increasingly renowned entertainers that would pass through. Currently, there are shows nearly every night, ranging from comedians, contortionists, prestidigitation, and high-minded bards to raucous bagpipe bands.

The most recent additions to The Juggler are a collection of five small gaming rooms and a 20' diameter fighting pit. Both are enticing to a devoted collection of local gamblers and wandering devotees of Tymora looking to improve their fortunes.
