Kagain's Shop
Kagain's Shop is a pawn shop, more or less, though the provenance of many of the eclectic items available for purchase is far from certain. Whatever their source, there are an astounding variety of goods for sale at Kagain's, including miscellaneous magical items. The selection rotates frequently and one can never be sure what might be available at any time. One constant, however, is that the prices are always low!
The proprietor of Kagain's Shop is Barton, a tough negotiator and persuasive salesman. Barton can be gruff, but can be impatient and willing to make a deal if potential buyers annoy him to a sufficient degree. Don't mistake this tendency for inexperience or incompetence, though. Barton is extremely shrewd and has operated a profitable business for many years since inheriting it from his father. You can trust Barton knows the true value of the goods that pass through his shop.

Kagain originally opened his eponymous shop after a long career as a mercenary specializing in protecting merchant caravans. With so much time spent around and negotiating with merchants, Kagain learned a vast amount about the business and value of goods. Combining these talents with a great avarice, Kagain established a successful and lucriative business that he was able to eventually pass to his son, Barton, a similarly greedy man.
