Gravefellow
Gravefellow, commonly called the City of Rainbows, is a large human city from before the World Death that stands to this day. Shortly before the world died, it was involved in a border war and had already built up defenses and fortifications. This helped it be easily defensible despite being on an open plain and close to a river. It is still restricted on space, so it is commonplace to see rooftop gardens and greenhouses thoughout the city. The city earned its nickname as a result of all the rainbows that are seen through the glass.
Keeping the city running has been difficult throughout the years, so decades ago the city leaders contracted with a powerful devil to hold back the undead. It is common to see devils and elves walking through the streets and defending the outskirts of nearby villages. However, these villages are limited in number as the Citadel can't handle evacuating citizens from all directions in the event of undead incursions, which seem to be more organized than what most citadels face.
Before the World Death, Gravefellow was of only moderate importance to the Wyrmbane Republic, and had 8 seats on the Republican Congress. It built up most of its wealth mining gold, but much of that is depleted now.
