Typhon
(a.k.a. Riley Stone)
Typhon is the sidekick of one of the Wandering City's greatest heroes, Hierophant. The armored heroes keep watch from far above the city in Hierophant's terrestrial satellite, the Chariot. Together, they've faced and defeated many threats to the city and the world, often working with the Union of Legends. After adventuring with her mentor since she was ten years old, Typhon has been given permission to join a team of her peers, and forge her own superheroic identity.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Typhon is a genetically engineered, bio-mechanically enhanced super soldier.
Special abilities
The Golden Dawn designed Typhon as the perfect killing machine. She possesses speed, strength, and endurance far exceeding peak human levels. Typhon is able to comprehend and almost instantly master any fighting style, weapon, or weapon system.
Specialized Equipment
Typhon pilots a suit of power armor, built by Hierophant to enhance her own natural abilities. Unlike Hierophant, Typhon's armor is sleek and nearly form fitting. It's composed of a melange of rare alloys and super dense plastics, and is immune to most small arms and energy attacks. The armor is a fully environmental suit, capable of limited underwater or space travel. Typhon's suit is powered by the same Zero Point Energy Matrix as Hierophant's armor, granting her robotically enhanced strength and speed.
Just as he did for himself, Hierophant has built many variants of the Typhon suit. He also has created a vast array of plug and play features and weapons to handle whatever type of opponent or terrain Typhon might find herself up against.

Personal history
Like her mentor, Typhon wasn't born so much as she was created. Hierophant's greatest enemy, Sovereign, used techniques and genetic material stolen from the nefarious Golden Dawn to clone his own batch of super soldiers. The process by which the Golden Dawn had created Sovereign and Hierphant was destroyed in their battle for independence, but after years of searching, the villain found a new genetic strain. The Typhon model, the perfect assassin.
Sovereign designed his own massive airship, and there he began creating Typhon clones. He'd only managed to produce one clone that survived, and through genetically accelerated growth had been aged 10 years in six months, when Hierophant discovered the secret base and attacked. Hierophant defeated Sovereign, who was forced to flee, but not before he activated his base's self destruct sequence, which would flood the base with poisonous gas before detonating powerful bombs. Hierophant had to disarm Sovereign's bombs or the base would crash into the city, but he'd also just discovered the young Typhon clone. Without enough time to save the child and disarm the bombs, Hierophant put Typhon in his armor and programmed it to fly the child to safety, determined to give his own life to save the city. He couldn't have guessed that Typhon's ability to instantly understand and master all forms of weaponry would apply to own armor, and the child flew to save Hierophant from the poisonous gas after he'd disarmed the bombs.
Hierophant decided to raise young Typhon, and as his alter ego, Simon Stone, he took the child as his legal ward. Typhon adopted her own alter ego, Riley Stone. Hierophant built Typhon a suit of power armor, and trained her to aid in the mission of protecting the Gateway City. For the last five years, Typhon has learned from the armored hero and fought alongside him.
Education
Typhon is a student at Seven Cedars Academy, where she is an honor role student, and junior captain of the debate team. On top of that, Hierophant has designed series of superhero training modules, taught by robotic instructors, Ms. Cognition and Mr. Grasp.
Intellectual Characteristics
While she doesn't possess the power of invention or the massive intellect of Hierophant, Typhon is very intelligent and a bit of a scientist herself. Typhon is unlikely to ever be able to build power armor, or create new tech like the Zero Point Energy Matrix; but she has a natural aptitude and is driven to understand the type of bleeding edge technology that Hierophant specializes in.
Morality & Philosophy
Typhon learned everything she knows about being a hero, and being a person, from Hierophant. Like her mentor, Typhon believes it's her duty to protect the city. Unlike Hierophant, Typhon longs for everyday human experiences, even when she sometimes feels less than human.
