Hanako 23: "Sora, Part I"
General Summary
Meeting with Hanzo, Hanako agrees to pay for half of Itsuki Higa's spying budget. Hanako enjoys a surprise from Akari and hangs out with Toshiaki in the evening, before heading to a family meeting at the Hanamurasaki ryokan the next day, bringing Hidé at Hanzo's request.
Hanako chats with Kaoru about unconventional relationships during the trip. Hanzo makes his intentions clear to bring Sora Fujiwara closer to the family after a meeting with the Nishikawas at which Yagi makes his intentions clear to promote Inori Nishikawa to Master of the Way and to appoint Sora as her primary miko. Hanzo warns the family of the potential instability caused by the conflict between Yagi and Hidehito, and Hanako chats with Hitomi, Morotada.
After messing around with Isamu Fujiwara, Hanako heads to the onsen. Sora, Inori, and Kaoru fraternize. Tensions between Hanako and Hidé come to a head over her attraction to Isamu, resulting in a spat after which Hanako agrees not to mediate in her love life. At night, Isamu and Hanako spy on Sora, Kaoru, and Inori.
