Hidehito Nishikawa
Lord of Narasaki? Hidehito Nishikawa
Hidehito Nishikawa is a member of the Nishikawa Dynasty who claims to be Lord of Narasaki and Lord of Touchu.
Life
Hidehito was the childhood rival of his older brother Yagi Nishikawa. In their teen years, both had eyes for Shinobu Yamato, but Hidehito alone became her lover, leaving Yagi spurned. At sixteen year old Hidehito challenged a much older Fumihiro Yamato to a duel over his mistreatment of Shinobu, during which he was killed by Fumihiro, but was resurrected by his family soon after. Fumihiro suffered a wound to his leg from the duel that permanently decreased his martial prowess.Politics
After the death of Tadashi Nishikawa at the hands of Solite assassins during the Solite-Shou War of 1198, Hidehito became involved in a succession crisis over his family's titles. After documents surfaced questioning the legitimacy the bloodline of his older brother Yagi, Hidehito claimed dominion over the Lordships of Narasaki and Touchu, and abducted his older brother. The scheme was initially successful, but Yagi was later freed by Nazar, and Yagi escaped into the countryside along with his wife, Junko. Despite efforts to mediate by Emperor Kazuyuki, the situation deteriorated, threatening civil war in the Nishikawa clan.Relationships
