Yagi Nishikawa is a member of the Nishikawa Dynasty who claims to be Lord of Narasaki and Lord of Touchu. He is married to Junko Nishikawa, the aunt of Emperor Kazuyuki Anzai.

Life

Yagi was the childhood rival of his younger brother Hidehito Nishikawa. In their teen years, both had eyes for Shinobu Yamato, but Hidehito alone became her lover, leaving Yagi spurned.

Politics

After the death of Tadashi Nishikawa at the hands of Solite assassins during the Solite-Shou War of 1198, Yagi became involved in a succession crisis over his family's titles. After documents surfaced questioning the legitimacy his bloodline, Yagi claimed they were fabricated.
Yagi claimed dominion over the Lordships of Narasaki and Touchu, and was shortly abducted his older brother Hidehito Nishikawa. The scheme was initially successful, but Yagi was later freed by Nazar, and Yagi escaped into the countryside along with his wife, Junko. Despite efforts to mediate by Emperor Kazuyuki, the situation deteriorated, threatening civil war in the Nishikawa clan.
