Hanako 30: "Khatar"

General Summary

Going to see Khatar, Hanako researches Solite customs and opts for a stealthy approach. After hearing Asato mentioned by a Solite soldier, Hanako learns that Khatar is under guard from members of the royal guard loyal to Sultan Aiwin Thedan, and that they act without his consent. Opting to lean into the personal aspect of their relationship, Hanako indulges in Solite customs and spends the night with Khatar.
The next day, Hanako runs into Asato at the New Palace onsen, learning that Solite men tried to recruit him. He fervently insists he would not betray the Empress Akari. After some hostility, Hanako proceeds upstairs, making her report to Kazuyuki and Akari. After spending the afternoon with them, Hanako proceeds to a family dinner with Sora and Isamu, prompting an interesting discussion about the nature of their family and their blood.
