Materia 21: "True Love Waits"
General Summary
Traveling into the Pale, the party does battle with Ransley aboard a palerider vessel. Narrowly avoiding defeat, Ransley flees to Volaris, with the party in pursuit. Landing ashore the island, Hanako meets her long-dead ancestor and idol Asumi Fujiwara, and promises to carry on apologies from Aieth Meliamne to his mother, Blodwyn.
Planning to use the Pale against Ransley, the party traverses Volaris, stumbling upon an Anzai vessel that once belonged to the lost Ohta Anzai. Finding Ransley near the monstrous tarrasque, it becomes evident that he used his final Wish to destroy the time-stop field on the island. Once again doing battle, the party barely defeats Ransley and an undead Sayaka Anzai, and retrieves Seiken in the process. However, with the time-stop field broken, the awakening of the tarrasque remains possible in the future.
