Materia 29: "Two Colors In My Head"

General Summary

Investigating the mysterious death of head servant Higa Kou in the palace district of Teikyou, Mari and Hanako uncover a number of useful clues, such that Higa died from drinking Hanzo's potion of longevity, taken from his room by Higa using his servant keys. However, it was unlikely that Higa himself poisoned it, instead suffering from a twist of fate. Further investigation reveals that Toshiaki's borrowed key was likely used to access the study to poison the potion.
Narrowing the number of suspects, the party uncovers an enchantment present on Jun Houou, who admits being coerced into the crime. Grateful for being saved, Jun reaffirms his commitment to his relationship with Mari, and she confides in him. The night before Sora's Comet arrives, Mari shares her desire for revenge against the Mithril Company with the party. With the comet arriving in the morning, Sanctity and the others make preparations to leave for the Nine Hells.
