Tryssee's Place

Tryssee's Place is a bar located in Mythrite's Entertainment District, and acts as one of its most popular evening hangouts for people around the town. Established shortly after the town was founded by Armadeus Tryssee, the bar was created to serve as a relaxation point for the various workers mining the Mythrite after the end of their shifts. Due to workers needing a point of rest and socialization after long hours working in the mine, the bar quickly became a popular site and is credited by the townspeople as having paved the way for the Entertainment district's gradual expansion. Only six months after its founding however, Armadeus died after he was stabbed by a customer who refused to pay his tab. Subsequently, his wife Lolita Tyrssee acquired the bar and divided its responsibilities among herself and her two children Nero and Gabrielle who expanded it from its original purpose as a bar into a full restaurant and singing lounge where everyone in town was encouraged to attend. The rise in clientele and popularity has led to the bar becoming the sponsors of many smaller businesses in the Entertainment district. Lolita handles management of the business, Nero handles staffing and occasional bartending duties, and Gabrielle is in charge of entertainment, occasionally performing onstage when she feels like it, though she has recently stepped away from this due to pregnancy. Despite occasional rumors of corruption and mishandling due to its influence on the Entertainment district, the Tryssee family is well liked and respected among its clientele and has been credited with providing a sense of family and community within the growing settlement. At this point, the name Tryssee's Place is as associated with the town as much as the Mythrite substance that allowed for its founding.
