Demeter

She was the goddess of harvest and fertility. So farmers and anyone trying to get pregnant would make offerings to her. Again due to the shear size of this city, so many people would come to make offerings to her at some point in their life. Her priests would mostly be out with the people – visiting their homes to bless them in the case of fertility or at farms in the case of the harvest. There would be some shrines to her, but not huge physical churches.
