Fabricators District
Overview
The Fabricators District of the Bronze Ring is the central place of industry in Novus. It turns materials from the Dust District or the Foundry District into things that the people of Novus need at the various factories throughout the city.
The Fabricators District was the first district of the city to truly and completely recover after the fall thanks to the efforts of countless citizens who worked tirelessly to restore Novus factories to working order to aid in further restoration efforts. It is the birthplace of many of Novus's vox populi ideals.
As such, it is the only district of the Bronze Ring to be run by a worker run guild - the Laborers Guild which manages the various factories of the district. Meetings in the public squares centered on worker issues are common and meant to protect the cause of the common worker.
This has not been without problems however. The Fabricators District was the birthplace of several rebellions across the history of post-fall Novus. The most violent of these uprisings caused the intervention of Brass Spears of Novus, leading to a harsh and bloody silencing of dissidents. These instances serve as grim reminders to the people of this ring. While frustrations against Novus's ruling class mount, few actually desire to see these frustrations draw martial law into being once again.
