Rhys is a ranger/monk stationed at the
Trail Head, and was the first
elf to discover those returning from the
Exodus Lands.
Rhys is the son of
King Cien, and Prince of the
Kingdom of the Hollylin Wood. He grew up with a variety of tutors who taught him practical skills (like lockpicking) as well as his more formal, royal education. He grew up with an elf from a noble family named Maria, and they began a romantic relationship.
After Meeting the Expedition
Rhys escorts the
Twin Fingers delegation to the elven capital after fighting along side them do clear the beetle infestation at
The Ruined Temple of Tymur. He relays to his father and the
Ghost Council what he knows about them: that one of them serves Thanatos, and they have talked about destroying the Towers.
After the deaths of
Mateus and
Heferth, Rhys discovers that the Ghost Council is plotting to murder both him and his father, and place a new ruler on the throne that is more under their control. He helps
Godgil and
Nath escape the palace, and escapes from the
Hollylin Woods with them and the remainder of the delegation.
Rhys stays in
Twin Fingers with Nath to plan his next move. He asks the party to go north with him to speak with the
Skeld elves for help.
After reaching
Skeldhome, Rhys entered the Mountain and encountered a trial from
Intet the Dreamer, where he lost both of his horns.
When he emerges from his trial in the Mountain,
Radha agrees to help him reclaim his land, and asks for a marriage alliance to create a bond between their people. Rhys reluctantly agrees, but they disagree about the details of the ceremony.
Nel proposes that they hold the ceremony in a neutral territory,
Twin Fingers, and they agree if the party is willing to provide transportation. They agree, and marry shortly after their arrival in Twin Fingers.
Rhys and Radha quickly become pregnant. Rhys isnt sure the baby is his at first, but he is alter assured that the child is his.
