Sun Tower

The Sun Tower is a large alabaster structure, with delicate gold decorations up the sides. At night a purple glowing crystal can be seen at the top. When disturbed, the tower gives off pluses of purple light. This tower was built by the Empire and is known to channel necromantic magic. The tower was built on the ley lines of the world, and pulls a great deal of energy from the Din Badlands.

The exterior of the building is protected with a crystal laser system.

The First Floor of the tower has brought the deceased back from the dead to defend the rest of the tower.

There is one known ghost from the Empire on the Second Floor. This ghost considers all races other than his own to be inferior slave races, and is a generally uncooperative jerk. This ghost spends his time studying magic, specifically necromancy. He's got a REAL problem with Thanatos, and therefore, Macaria. Also on the second floor is a circle which channels necromantic energy, and rebuilds the bodies of things that are dead.

The Third Floor is largely open, with additional defenses and crystal lasers.

The top of the tower contains control panels, and a giant crystal on a raised platform. The crystal is mounted on a circle of runes that seem to control the crystal's function.

Deactivation

After defeating Skullius Dane fused with the ghost of the tower, Nel'Tari Zoral and Rhys channeled radiant mana into the necromantic runes on the platform, deactivating the runes. Macaria cast Shatter on the crystal during the battle, cracking the crystal, and it leaked its remaining necromantic energy. Once it was clear, Godgil Jadehewer used the crystal to channel a nuclear weapon level Fire Bolt out across the sea. He fired it a second time aimed at the Order of the Eclipse headquarters in the Chipstone Range. The crystal was destroyed and no longer functions.
