Kościuszko Military Academy
The Tadeusz Kościuszko Joint Military Academy (KMA) is an officer training academy for the Transnational Aerospace Security Alliance (TASA) and Polish Armed Forces. The Kościuszko Military Academy is the primary pipeline for training future officers of both organizations. It is named after General Tadeusz Kościuszko, a Polish-Lithuanian war hero and a key contributor to the American Revolutionary War Effort. The TASA school's motto is "Sola Virtus Invicta" and the Polish school's motto is "Veritas, Honor, Patria".
The academy is located in Wroclaw, Poland. The current Commandant of the Kościuszko Military Academy is renowned MajGen. Andrzej "Ironheart" Zielinski, who personally teaches several leadership theory and military history classes.
The Polish Forces Quarter of the academy, irreverently called the "Wroclaw Ghetto", is largely segregated from the TASA side of the camp to avoid rivalry issues. There are a few shared facilities such as the Cadet Medical Center, the graduation hall, and the various sports stadiums. Many instructors and professors who can speak Polish and English or another language teach classes on both sides of the base.
Within the TASA side of the base, Space Corps and Marine Corps cadets live in separate barracks, but attend class together with the exception of branch specific courses and combat exercises.
The KMA maintains preparatory annexes at the Duntroon Military Academy in Australia and the Saint-Jean Academy in North America. These annexes handle in-processing for North American and Australian TASA Cadets, weeding out early drop-outs without the logistical burden of sending them to Poland first.
