Its nickname is “The Monarchy”, as it boasts a high percentage of inherited rule as opposed to democratic election or abrupt external overthrow. They don’t even have the substructure of lesser officials being elected, but rather are selected by the ruler.
A large proportion of their population goes into magical pursuits, particularly wizardry. This results in a rather eclectic general marketplace and means that there are quite a few scams out there for the unwary buyer. They also sell some of the best magical artifacts in the world, so it’s kind of a fifty-fifty chance of getting something that actually works.
The “hero” Zorrros was originally from here before he was thrown out. His usual collection of cohorts also originates here: his brother Torrros, on-and-off girlfriend Lusianana, and the wizard Shrubber.
The current ruler is Queen Iraida.
Recently discovered to be the actual point of origin for the Dwarf people.
