Heavy Grifter

Qualifications

There are no official qualifications to become a Heavy Grifter, but a person must have worked their way along the Grifters pathway, completing at least 12 months as an Underseer followed by at least 12 months as a General Grifter before chosing the specialise.

Appointment

A Heavy Grifter's appointment is usually celebrated with the presentation of a hammer or similar appropriate tool, which then becomes that person's until they are no longer a Heavy Grifter.

Duties

Heavy Grifters work where they are needed, mostly outside. They take their work orders from the Overseer, and may spend their days fixing fences out in the fields, building new houses, reparing existing ones, or they may work in the forge crafting metalwork.

Responsibilities

Heavy Grifters are responsible for the maintenance of all the buildings in their settlement, as well as the upkeep of roads, fences, walls and providing the community with what it needs in the way of tools and the like.
