Purpose / Function

Originally designed to do field testing for plasma dermatology, Director Airheart shifted the staff around, and asked Director Valen Gastok to use it as a branch for Gravitational Inversion. Gastok did so and added several renovations to the lab.

Alterations

• Access to the sewer and undercity has been reestablished and reinforced.
• A lounge (officially called The Breakroom) was added to the second level. It has couches, tables, chairs, a dartboard and usually a copy of the Weekly Ravnica News. 
• An gravity inversion device was placed in the center of the structure. It allows quick travel to various levels of the lab via floating. Momentum is required to move through the space. There is a spot in the middle of the field where gravity is nullified and things can just hover - like Noik.

Defenses

Typical Izzet keys and traps were put in place to keep the curious out. The building itself is fairly nondescript to avoid attracting attention. However it does seem to attract a large amount of lightening to conductors placed within the tower. It is also known that Izzet Weirds are at the location and can be used to defend it.

History

The lab was running for a while under Director Gastok. But an incident caused the building to be evacuated by the Boros Legion. Rumors that one of the Izzet Weirds or another construct ran amok were popular for the locals in the area. Shortly after this incident, the neighborhood was abandoned when an attack by the Gruul Clans pushed far into Precinct Four. Goblin gangs have been squabbling for the turf ever since.
The party was able to reclaim the lab from Krenko's Krew, and a malfunctioning Galvanice Weird. It was reestablished as sub-lab under Director Uldin and run by Bucket and his Crew.
