The Moon's Rage

The Conflict

The Engagement

Neia, realizing she has been cornered and is beginning to lose, takes advantage of Ryou, the God of Wind clearing the skies of clouds for better visibility in order to make use of Lunar Mind Control. Recognizing the spell she is using, Lorenzo McConnell uses his bond with Yung Pagoni, God of Peacocks as his patron to warn him, and most of the forces take cover and manage to not be controlled.   Ferventi, God of Wolves, however, is taken control of and Neia sends him into a frenzied state only spoken of, akin to that during the legendary myth, The Rage of Ferventi, using him to attack and kill as many of the god's forces as possible. This does not completely work, as Neia has no actual control over the wolf god, and he attacks anyone within sight, including attacking Neia herself. An omnia attempts to slow him down and is killed, decapitated, and her jaws stuck around Ferventi's throat.   Neia attempts to destroy the essence of this omnia, and is brutally wounded by Ferventi herself, forced to flee.

Outcome

Ferventi sustains massive life threatening injuries during the battle and spends several days in a frenzied bloodthirsty state. He is so wounded he cannot participate further in the war and is taken to one of his shrines in the Land of Gods to recover.   Fire God Vega uses the last of his power, amid his own injuries, in a final attempt to kill Neia, but fails and dies soon after. His death causes a massive eruption of Mount Shanai, which he had been controlling for centuries.
