Geron 'the Sword of the Morning' Solson
Geron was a famed member of the Justicars, becoming known as the Sword of the Morning for his unmatched skill with the Dawn Sword. During the Hollow War, Geron discovered the vampire threat at Mirstone, where Lord Demicus had turned the townsfolk into his own miniature army. To defeat Demicus, Geron joined forces with Grace Velvine, an Inquisitor, a quite unique occurrence considering the bad blood between the Justicars and the Inquisition, and working together they were able to kill Demicus for good and free Mirstone from his control.
Geron was one of the few Justicars to survive the purge brought on by Lord No One's actions and returned to Mirstone, where the locals happily granted him shelter. He took with him the Noble Compass, a powerful artefact that was believed to lead the way to Ishurad's Vault. He lived there for several months, regaining his strength after the battles following Lord No One's massacre, and helped negotiate an agreement with the nearby town of Holbeck on behalf of Mirstone, exchanging valuable ore and gems for willingly donated blood.
Unfortunately, a swarm of phase spiders were accidentally unleashed within the Mirstone Mines and Geron attempted to deal with the swarm himself but was killed in the attempt. Soon after his death, the Party and Serena Bearheart, one of Geron's fellow Justicars, arrived in search of the Noble Compass. They fought their way through the phase spiders and retrieved the Compass from Geron's body.
