Justicars
The Justicars were formed in the days of the First King and fought alongside him to bring peace and order to Sanroth. They served for generations as guardians of the First King's descendants, known as noble and honorable warriors.
The days of the Justicars came to an end during the Hollow War, though their numbers had long dwindled from the mighty order they had been in the days of Ishurad. When Vimis 'Lord No One' Underdrey marched on the Great Keep, the Justicars attempted to stop him but the majority of their number were killed along with those they were sworn to defend during the royal massacre. The remaining Justicars were killed in the resulting battle for power that arose between the Justicars and the Inquisition, both believing they should speak for the fallen king and suspecting the other of foul play.
Two Justicars were known to have survived the destruction of their order: Geron 'the Sword of the Morning' Solson and Serena Bearheart. Geron took refuge in Mirstone, where he aided the locals in their own plight until he was killed defending Mirstone from a swarm of phase spiders. Serena had been able to escape the massacre with the last remaining member of the royal family, Damon, and she gained the aid of the Party in order to safely escort Damon to Ishurad's Vault.
