Grace Velvine

Grace Velvine is a member of the Inquisition and currently the High Inquisitor after the conclusion of the Hollow War and the chaos of the Royal Massacre led to her predecessors being killed or discredited. Serena Bearheart described Grace as being "the right person raised by the wrong people", well-intentioned but trained in what Serena considered the questionable methods of the Inquisition.
During the war, Velvine discovered the plight of Mirstone, which had been taken over by the powerful vampire Lord Demicus. Despite the bad blood between her own order and the Justicars, Velvine joined forces with Geron 'the Sword of the Morning' Solson and together they were able to defeat Demicus and free the people of Mirstone.
Velvine was present when the Party's adventure began, when Sevryn the Red Death attacked Summerfell Keep. She fought the dragon while the Party escaped in the chaos and was ultimately able to repel Sevryn even if she was unable to fully defeat him.
She later gave a sealed letter to Chapter Master Arqull of the Phoenix Chapter, forseeing that he would cross paths with those she had dubbed "The Summerfell Runaways". In the letter (which the group acquired by lifting it from Arqull's dead body), Velvine urged the Party to surrender Damon, the last survivor of the royal family, over to her for the good of the realm.
