Sanroth Royal Family
The royal family of Sanroth were the direct descendants of Ishurad 'the First King' Rainhald himself, and one of their number had always sat on the Amber Throne since the First King's reign. Ishurad's descendants all possessed his golden eyes, pale skin and white-blonde hair, although these features had dulled somewhat over the centuries.
More importantly than appearances, they also possessed the First King's Blood, which distributed his potent magical power amongst his descendants. As they had grown more numerous in number of the generations, the magic had been distilled in its potency and by the time of the reign of King Rudur Rainhald, most members of Ishurad's bloodline were above average sorcerers at best.
The bloodline was reconsolidated when Vimis Underdrey, known to many as Lord No One of Nowhere, learned he was descended of a royal bastard and also carried Ishurad's powerful blood. He acquired one of the lost halves of Ishurad's Mask and used it to harness his abilities, launching an attack on the Great Keep that ended with the Royal Massacre.
