Reverence

Appearing only after the escalation of the conflict between the Widowmaker and Captain Glowcreek, Reverence was a relatively unknown entity in Riverside, save for that she was the Widowmaker's bodyguard and that even the bravest and most dangerous in the city feared her. 
When the Party made moves against the Widowmaker, Reverence was tasked with taking her children to an underground lair for their own protection. When Riverside guards attempted to follow, Reverence slaughtered them with apparent ease. She was found again at the Widowmaker's side, as expected, when the Party raided the underground lair and defeated the crime lord once and for all. Reverence escaped after her seeming employer was killed, but not before stirring a sense of recognition in Billy Fistington. 
The Party soon uncovered that Reverence was a member of an ancient order of assassins known as the Silent Step, who had existed even before the reign of the First King. According to records, Reverence herself has appeared throughout history, seemingly much older than she appears to be. She was hired by Davin West, Chapter Master of the Inquisition in Riverside and a secret member of the Nameless Order, to protect the Widowmaker so as to ensure further disruption in the city. 
Billy Fistington left the Party to seek out Reverence, believing that she was responsible for the murder of his parents.
