Sankai Atsutane

Sankai served as the Regent of Ganeshuku between S192 and S217.

Personal History

Sankai was born in S165, two years after the birth of his older sister Kiriu and one year before his younger sister Yono. The three siblings were raised at Shimaho in the Sky Ward of Nanganato.
In S159 their father, Sanjiro Atsutane, became the Regent of Nanganato, and in S171 he also became the High Shield of the Temple of Hiega. Unfortunately Sanjiro passed away just ten years later in S181.
In S186 Sankai married Utzuki, and in S187 their first son Shinsui was born.
In S192 Sankai was appointed Regent of Ganeshuku, forcing him and his family to move there from Nanganato.
Sankai and Utzuki's second son, Sokaji, was born in S199.
Neither child seemed to take an interest in politics or running the clan, content instead to focus on their direct families. Despite this, when Shinsui turned 30, in S217, he was appointed to his father's position as Regent of Ganeshuku in S217.
Sankai passed away in S231.
