Phinneas Boggs
The childhood friend of Mongo who grew up at the Morning Star Abbey in Redwall Citadel. A simple boy, Phinneas is always looking for adventure but never really understood what it involved.
His first real excursion outside of Redwall was when he followed Mongo to Diamond Lake where he quickly fell in with the wrong crowd and spent all of their money on his new "lady friend".
A few months later, Phinneas got himself mixed up with the likes of Marcus Findlay who had taken a contract from Alcar Borgen to locate the tomb of Sinzil. The adventure did not end in the way Phinneas had expected, with a confrontation between Marcus and Mongo's party resulting in the death of Mongo's friend Karsus. Deeply disturbed by this event, Phinneas returned to the Abbey where Father Wilhelm Stone welcomed him home.
