Alderland, the majestic capital for the kingdom of the same name is nestled in the embrace of the towering Craghelm and Reach mountain ranges, stands as a beacon of resilience and strength in the rugged terrains of Eldonia. The city, perched on the northern shores of the serene Lake Eldara, is a spectacle of both natural beauty and architectural prowess. The lake, with its tranquil waters, provides a stark contrast to the bustling life within the city, and during the winter months, its northern sections surrender to a crystalline freeze, rendering a spectacle of shimmering ice under the pale winter sun.   The City guard are named the Arwyr, the specialized guard that protect the Lyrfaen Spire are the Cadwyn Arwyr.

Demographics

Almost all of the demographics of Alderland are Eldonian with a heavy lean towards Gaelorian peoples. Alderland is a trade city though not critical in international trade, it is a major exporter for Eldonia. Apprxomiately 10% of the population are Zamoran, Maraqul, or from the Turian Sultanate. Another 10% are from the Imperium and the Free Republics, with a long history of movement of peoples' between Alderland and the Imperium, there are many people of mixed heritage in the city.

Government

Padraig Gwydion is the King of Alderland and he runs his city through his steward Edewyn Hawthorne.

Districts

It epitomizes cultural sophistication and religious devotion in Alderland.   5. The King's Caisteal & Lyrfaen Spire: This area combines the royal residence and the enigmatic Lyrfaen Spire. It serves as a political and scholarly hub, a blend of royal authority, ancient knowledge, and mystery.   6. Horse Traders Hills: Renowned for its equestrian culture, this district's rolling hills are alive with the activity of horse trading and breeding. Regular markets and fairs make it a vibrant hub for horse enthusiasts and traders.   7. Coin Ward: As the commercial heart of the city, the Coin Ward's open-air markets and proximity to the trade ward make it the center of most city exports. The area buzzes with merchants, artisans, and the vibrant energy of trade.   8. The Lowers: A humble and densely populated area, The Lowers is characterized by modest housing and a hardworking populace. It's a community marked by resilience and a strong sense of togetherness.   9. High Ward: Perched at a higher elevation, High Ward is synonymous with luxury and exclusivity, housing elite institutions, high-end shopping, and residences of the city's most influential figures.
