Kiersea (KEER-see)

Keirsea is an island realm in the Sun Sea, south of the mainland of Wessa. It is ruled by a woman known as the Mistress of Keirsea, a very powerful etheric. She dwells in the great Ivory Tower at the center of the City of Keirsea. Her citizenry is made up of people from all over the world. Most of the main island is a wild jungle area, inhabited by large reptilian creatures. The island's largest feature is a semi-active volcano, Mount Monatru, which was once the location of an ancient Solari temple. Some Saurian "lizardman" tribes dwell in the marshy areas of the main island. A small penninsula on the south end of the island known as the Protected Lands. It is seperated from the rest of the island by the ancient Tanaroa Wall, commonly known as "the Barrier." It is in this area that most of the major settlements are located, including the capital City of Kiersea, a strange and rare metropolis where etherea is almost commonplace.
