Isle of Faeria

Fae’ria is a large island near the point where the Midrun Sea empties into the Great Western Sea. In Vainite, the name refers to the “home of the Fae.” This ancient land was the sanctuary and home of the original Elvani Fae that survived the Cataclysm, after having been sent to safety from Elvanar by the faithful Sentinels. Called “Nuelva” by the Elváen inhabitants, the island is a lush land of forests and groves, with a concentrated presence of ethereal “fairy” creatures.
The island lays at the crux of two significant Ley Lines. Drawing from this ethereal power node, the island exhibits a strange ethereal aura, perceived as a temporal-spacial phase shift. The nature of time and space is said to “bend” around the island. This serves to conceal the island from normal contact, but also causes time to flow differently than the outside world.
Nuelva: The Elváen name for the island of Fae’ria, it was considered a new homeland by the original Elvani Fae. The name comes from the root phrase meaning “new divine garden.” The main city of Fae'ri is called Enthilmirath.
