Cawsbel

Cawsbel is a halfling village located in Meyjakh's Takh Vall, situated high on a green mountainside. Cawsbel is known for its cheese, which it wheels down for sale in Cannaton. The cattle in the region roam freely and wear bells, hence its nickname "Cowbell," although the name actually derives from "quick cheese," a nickname originating from the villagers' use of magic to age cheese faster than usual.  Residents, due to their isolation, maintain a unique identity different from Meyjakh's other halfling village, Budham, which is very far away.  Cawsbel's cheese is known for its clarity thanks to its alpine climate, clean air, fresh grass, and happy cattle.
