Wessinger Slum

Wessinger Slum is a sprawling slum at the outskirts of Norrsidra Sektor of Styx.
It is one of the poorest neighborhoods of Styx and the gangs of Styx rule it without intervention from the Temple Parliament.
Most of the people living in "the Wessinger" get their Vouchers weekly simply for them to be taken away by the ruthless slum lord gangs as a protection racket.
The Wessinger Slum is currently embroiled in a 3 faction cold war between three gangs that each uphold a shaky ceasefire to not attract the attention of the Federal Vanguard.
The main gangs which hold power in the Wessinger right now are the Grey Crows, the Reaping Willows and the Determini.
Apart from the gangs the Wessinger is also home to the Neighborly Garden, a citizen-ran project that seeks to establish safe spaces for the people away from the control of the criminal underworld of Styx.
The Neighborly Garden stands under the protection of the People's Guard Militias and is therefore safe from the predation of gangs and criminals.
Its main features are a public library and a free to use gardening space so that poor urban dwellers can grow vegetables and herbs for their own use.
The Neighborly Garden has consistently been threatened by the local gangs but so far no attacks have followed as the armed protectors of the People's Guard Militias are known to be ready to assemble a defensive force in a moment's notice.
