Ali Empire

According to many historians and theologians, the area where the Ali Empire was made up is where all sapient life originated. This is where the giants had first been molded by the gods in order to create the great land masses of the world. it is also here that all races would first come into existence before they had resettled in other areas of the world. It is an ancient land with a conglomeration of ancient tribal traditions and the peak of civilization compared to every other part of the world. Ali is also a great reminder of the consequences of the Great Holy War and its devastation on the planet.
During the height of the Great Holy War, the entire continent of Kenor had shifted and sunk several parts of Ali. This cut off the close contact the Alians had with the Osmani people before the war come to a cataclysmic conclusion with nearly every god that the Alians worshipped being dead save for Amm, one of the Ellyllon Monarchs. This left a severe lack of spiritualism and religion in the region for several decades to follow due to a lack of knowledge of the Ellyon Monarchs throughout Ali. This continued until missionaries from the Holy Republic of Drukalsteim and what would become the Osmani Sultanate showed up in the region in 50 E.D.
Many nations would be founded after the advent of many religions in the area of Ali, and this advent would severely impact both the tribal beliefs of Amm and other powerful spirits. Many religious wars have been waged in the area and impacted the ancient, dying religions of Ali. Many lives had been taken and many more would follow suit until one day a king, Habar, in 900 E.D. would rise, the first Akachi or King of the Ali Empire. He would make his city, Inani, at the northernmost point of the Tieru River and create an imperial dynasty that has lasted to the present day. His descendant, Akachi Chidiegwu Otieno, the ninth Akachi in 980 would be the figurehead in what would expand the empire into its greatest reaches and highest grasp of wealth.
Akachi Chidiegwu Otieno would aid in discovering and utilizing the many new mines and streams in what was rapidly becoming the Ali Empire since the advent of the Great Holy War by the time he was 18. This set up the Ali Empire as the wealthiest nation in the world as nearly half of all precious materials come from the empire. Chidiegwu would then travel across the entire world, with his brother acting as regent, spreading the word of the great wealth and bounty of Ali while giving away gold and precious materials freely. This bankrupted many countries around the world as he traveled through them and devasted many political landscapes as well while spreading the tolerant viewpoints of the Alian people. At the end of his travels across the world at the age of 40, Chidiegwu decided to travel to different planar realms. He noted the extremely hostile land maddening life in the Void, he shouted at the demons of Sheol, he welcomed in the bliss of Empyrea, he took in the wonders of Ildathach, he talked extensively to the dead in the Aethereal Plane, and ended his travels in the Dreamlands. He died in his bed when his travels ended at the age of 78.
Since then, every nation in the world knows of Ali Empire as a sprawling region of vast deserts, hostile jungles, friendly villages, opulent cities, and extravagant cities. Each city in Ali marks where each surviving tribe made their home after the devastation of the Great Holy War. However, the Gondo people are an exception as they isolate themselves within the deserts of Ali as they predict the stars and great events to occur. Some even speculate that the Gondo people even know of the true state of reality as it is and as it shall be in the world. One state that is true in Ali is that many lords and ladies of Ali exploit slaves in the land in order to do their bidding and to cut costs on much of their wealth.
Wealth and power have accumulated toward the top of the heads of government throughout all of Ali much to the pain and melancholy of many tribes who pledged their allegiance to the empire many years ago. Time will tell as a new age seems to be dawning on all of Ali with the advent of the Second Great Holy War.

Structure

The Ali Empire has a stratified society with a strict hierarchy with the emperor, or Akachi in Alian, on top followed by the nobles, the merchants, the commoners and the slaves. These slaves come from both the Servitor Races and any other species of people in Ali. This is due to how the structure of the debts and crime are paid in Ali. If one cannot pay for their debts or fines, they are put into indentured servitude for a great period of time until they pay off that debt. However, this is defied by the factors of having a child born while an individual is a slave. The child by proxy of being born into debt is also made a slave for an indefinite period of time.

Culture

Ali is defined by its extreme wealth and prosperity for a great many in the nation that own the mines and precious materials that accumulate in the empire. Those who do not own land are trampled upon by the wealthy. This has ensured many have gone back to tribal values and traditions outside of city walls in the lands of Ali. Many are defined by their core beliefs in either Amm or many other creatures from the Aethereal Plane or Ildathach. Many of these people feel the full weight of not siding with the wealthy few in Ali and die of exposure in the harsh lands that make up Ali. A factor that many of the vampires exploit and have become a part of many tribes' cultural traditions.

Public Agenda

The goals of the Ali Empire is the accumulation of wealth and a near-iconography of Akachi Chidiegwu Otieno as a symbol of absolute wealth. Even if Chidiegwu is most likely disgusted with how his descendants have mistreated all of his people in years following his death.

Assets

The Ali Empire's extreme wealth stems from its mines, for which make up more than half of the world's supply of precious materials despite what the Great Temuj says.
