High Elves

This race is the direct descendants of the Light Elves. They were obsessed with their magical prowess, which many lack, and that they claim to be the best in. They were extremely adept in alchemy and use this knowledge to make various servitor races such as the Changelings. They also use this alchemy in order to ensure that their race does not die out due to extreme inbreeding. It is because of these rampant incestuous relations that the Fracture, an event in which more than half the race left for other lands and evolved, occurred. They continued to gain power, economic growth, and progress all due to their advanced knowledge of biological engineering via alchemy and the creation of slaves. Their vanity and depravity soon caused the utter decimation of Hyl'dora when the Second Great Holy War occurred. A massive Hellmouth opened and swallowed a majority of Hyl'dora and transformed it into part of the Isles of Monsters peninsula. Many of the High Elves would retreat across the globe as many people worldwide continue to persecute the High Elves for their hand in causing both Great Holy Wars. Many of the High Elves seek redemption for their actions, and their ancestor's actions, by following the Neo-Ildathach Faith.

Pointy ears, pale-skin and extreme haughtiness

Genetics and Reproduction

They have a three-year gestation period and have an extremely low conception rate. They require potions just to be able to breed with another, mostly within their own families. They still do have capabilities of mating with other races to induce a half-elf, and the rate of conception is much higher than with each other.

Growth Rate & Stages

It takes 80 years for a high elf to reach emotional and psychological maturity. Yet, by 16 they are physically mature and on par with other humanoids. This race can live up to 750 years due to the deformation of their genes, compared to the uncalculated amount of time the Light Elves lived.
