Personal history
Kagia had been the first deity to be birthed into the world by some unknown entity along with most of the first gods. She and the others did a great battle against the voidlings that prevented them from achieving this unknown entity's goal, light. So Kagia and the unknown entity created the first and most powerful language, Primis Speech. This allowed her to simply give life and soul to any voidling in her wake along with giving them a Spark of Divinity. This would allow the second iteration of divinity to enter into reality as the tides had turned in favor of Kagia and the unknowable entity. They had won their war and created Empyrea and the Physical Plane.
Yet, none in existence had a name or any title for that matter. So Kagia and the unknowable entity created the first and true names. It was then that Kagia knew that the people she was to guide needed a sole leader, not two entities so very alike in their prowess. She then looked to the unknowable entity and whispered away the unknowable entity's True Name. This caused a grand paradox in the entity's existence and it had fallen into the First Dream. This had thus created the Dreamlands as all dreams had stemmed from the entity's own lucidness.
Kagia then created the Grand Cycle to ensure the continued slumber of the Unnamed Sleeper and the continued renewal of the world between cycles of life and death that would guarantee creation would live on indefinitely. She then went about the creation of the Thurisaz, the giants, in order to create and mold the planes as well as to birth the mortal races into forms she saw fit. When the giants completed their task and sided with the newly arrived Great Race of Yith, she declared war against her own creation in Ragnogoth. Instead of renaming each and every traitor, she couldn't as she had been too attached to what she had made in the world. She then made a new plane for those that betrayed her grand design known as Gehenna so that they could dwell there in torment for their treachery against the goddess of creation.
When many other gods left to create new planes or already existing planes, she cared not as these individuals did not betray her Grand Cycle nor compromise it. Instead, she gave them free reign over their own creation and devices. She would do as such for hundreds of thousands of years. She would plot and manipulate every pantheon to ensure the Grand Cycle and the flow of Causality never breaks away from her intended design.
What Kagia had not planned for is the intervention of a Usurper against all that Kagia stood for and had succeeded on nearly every front. Even when her powers waned due to the Pact of Those Below and Above, she still planned to reign in on her currents of fate that she knew she was losing hold of. But that all came crashing down as a triumphant Adrammelech marched to her on her thrown, decapitated Kagia, ate Kagia's soul, and showed Kagia's head to the rest of Empyrea. But even in her death, the Goddess of Fate smiled as even then she knew with this Usurper would continue the great intricacies of the Grand Cycle.
Her plans were foiled, along with her plot to possess Adrammelech to access the combined power of thousands of deities from the Gods of Gehenna, when the Pantheon of the Black Star slew her new physical form, Yaldaboath, and sealed her soul forevermore inside of Mephisto, the Fateweaver. Now Kagia's influence is but a minor whisper and echo amongst the dormancy of thousands of gods. Her voice was silent forevermore.
