Venland

The lands of Venland were home to many giant tribes but after the Second Age, Godswar, they mostly disappeared and moved elsewhere. The few humans that stayed there, in time, became the Goliaths. However, the continent didn't become important until during the Third Age, Kingdoms it was discovered and colonized by the first humans of the Old World. It quickly became the center of trade but even in time, the harsh and wild reality of the continent needed warriors, so while Venland and Norselia prospered, the Warrior-clans of Venland kept monsters in check. The continent is returning to prominence in the Fifth Age, Current Age as trade finally returns worldwide.
