Calypso
The enigmatic planet Calypso is named after a famed Medusa from the Second Age, Godswar, who was capable of turning gods into stone. This planet has similar properties. Most of the time, the planet can't be seen on the night sky, even with a telescope. However, once you peer enough, it might appear in your view. Many researchers went insane trying to study the planet because looking at them drove them to madness. They started to hear voices, contradicting ideas, and plans. The legends say that during the Third Age, Kingdoms, there were a few of these insane observers that would gain unknown magical powers that could shape reality around them, without the use of the Magic Thread.
