Father of the Forge
Father of Gnomes and Dwarves
The Father of the Forge, a master craftsman among the Titans, was revered for his intimate knowledge of metalwork and jewelcraft in the world of Tethys. Harnessing the raw Life Spark energies, he wove the raw materials of the world into precious ores and shimmering gems, embedding them deep within the crust of Tethys.
Through his meticulous handiwork, two new races were brought into existence: the industrious Volcano Dwarves and the inventive Rock Gnomes. The Volcano Dwarves, built to endure the heat and pressure of their fiery environment, were charged with the task of unearthing the finest ores and jewels, and exploring the endless possibilities of new alloys. Meanwhile, the Rock Gnomes, with their nimble fingers and inventive minds, were given the responsibility of drafting innovative designs for tools, structures, and weapons, safeguarding them for future generations.
When the Titan War erupted, the Father of the Forge shifted his immense talents from creation to armament, producing a plethora of powerful weapons for his Titan brethren and their mortal allies. His prodigious skills, drawn from the energies of the Life Spark, proved instrumental in equipping the Titan forces.
Despite his contributions, he was eventually captured by the Translucent Traveler, one of the First Gods, and ensnared within a celestial prison. But confinement was not to be his fate. Freed clandestinely by the Caretaker, another Titan, he managed to evade the wrath of the Gods that fell upon @atl and the others.
Yet, after the Betrayer's treachery and the renewed imprisonment of his kin, the Father of the Forge found no solace in his freedom. Instead, he delved deep into the earth, seeking refuge within its vast expanse. This sanctuary, however, became a prison of its own. Far from the light of day, the Father of the Forge dwells in self-imposed exile, his once vibrant forge now a memory fading within the earth's dark heart. His legacy, like the Life Spark from which he drew his power, now lies buried deep within the heart of Tethys.
