Ivashaar

The hidden nation of Ivashaar is mainly inhabited by surface Drow who work with the Elven Lands in secret. Very few ships are able to get near before they are turned back by force or diplomacy. The elves do their best to keep the place a secret but nothing this big can be hidden forever.

History

Long ago, during the Third Age, Kingdoms. Many elves went on a pilgrimage to the Elven Lands. Most of them started their journey in the northern parts of the Old World and went south, using the eastern coasts. Along the way, some would stay to build infrastructure for the next elves. Over time, these little ports became cities and after many centuries, they supported thousands of elves. Such a place existed in the Likouala Jungles, the penultimate stop, the next being the Riverlands, before reaching their destination. However, the jungles were unforgiving, thus this place was abandoned in the Fourth Age, The Calamity, taken over by monsters. Recently, in the Fifth Age, Current Age, the surface Drow decided to rebuild this place, calling it Ivashaar. This would grant them a place, outside the Elven Lands they could call home, as well as an ideal place to cover for their spying activities.
