Limâr-zareth
The Hill Dwarves were able to rebuilt lost cities of the Nairos Desert and create a wealthy nation here. The golden domes shine ever so brightly on the horizon. However, the populace is at a standstill as they are heartbroken - their once-friends (Ash Shwayrif) allied themselves with their enemies and call them betrayers. Even after the dwarves sacrificed many to resurface their once great cities and rebuild them, as an honor to the times both sides were once one.
History
The Nairos Desert was once home to Hill Dwarves and Seljuks, whom became good friends in the Third Age, Kingdoms. They would form a new nation and later join the Divine Empire. However, tragedy struck in the Fourth Age, The Calamity as the cities of the desert would fall into the hands of the Divine Hollow, agents of the Icons. This helped the Iconian Empire create a strong foothold in the western part of the Old World. This became a focal point for the dwarves and seljuks to search for answers. Even after the Icons were defeated, the question still remained "why our cities fell so quickly compared to others?" Betrayal was in the minds of everyone. The Brass Dragons of the desert didn't help these talks, festering in the Seljuks tells of dwarves serving under the Icons, while the dwarves said that their caravans would be attacked by the dragons themselves. Nobody today really knows who was saying the truth back then. This animosity reached it peak at the start of the Fifth Age, Current Age. The great cities of the desert fell, destroyed by sandstorms brought by the calamity. Untold thousands died and many more would join them due to starvation. The Seljuks had enough and went east, while the dwarves stayed behind and tried to rebuild. When the Post-Calamity Era of the Fifth Age, Current Age ended, the dwarves were able to stand on their feet and rebuild more cities. The news came to them was the confirmation they needed, the descendants of their once-friends allied with the Brass Dragons, making them their new kings and queens, while at the same accusing the dwarves of being the ones who betrayed. This marked a series of raids over the next generations that would be conducted by both sides. While the Brass Dragons publicly denounce the attacks, they do nothing to stop them, while the dwarves are "only answering back", some might suggest that it isn't true as the first raids were conducted by the dwarves themselves. Decades after The Second Divergence, the dwarves started to seek allies in their upcoming war, trying to get their kindred to help them. Many fear that help might not come.
