Egel Faquin

Son of the captain of the fountain guard. Fought well at the battle of Metor - Ildor Outpost and became known as hobgoblinbane. He was presented with the rapiers to head to Ildor and trial for the fountain guard.   Egel Faquin is a drow, son of the dark elf general, and is a skilled fighter with a reputation as a skilled archer and dual-wielding rapier fighter. Egel stands at an average height for a drow, with pale skin and white hair like hair father. His eyes are a piercing shade of green, which is an unusual trait among his kind.   Egel gained the nickname "Hobgoblinbane" after a particularly noteworthy battle where he single-handedly slew several hobgoblins who had been harassing his unit. This act of bravery earned him the respect of his fellow soldiers and cemented his reputation as a skilled warrior.   However, Egel's achievements are often attributed to nepotism, a fact that he is largely unaware of. Despite his father's high rank and status, Egel often found himself the target of bullying and hazing by other drow, who resented his privileged position. As a result, he worked tirelessly to prove his worth and earn the respect of his peers, which he has done with his skill as a fighter and his courage in battle.   Egel prefers to fight with two rapiers, which he wields with deadly precision and speed. When the situation calls for it, he is also a skilled archer, able to strike his targets with uncanny accuracy from a distance.   Despite his accomplishments, Egel struggles with feelings of inadequacy and a sense that he must constantly prove himself to those around him. This can make him overly cautious and hesitant to take risks in battle, as he is afraid of making a mistake and failing in front of others.   Overall, Egel Faquin is a skilled and respected warrior, with a reputation for courage and skill in battle. However, he also carries the burden of feeling like he must constantly prove himself to others, which can make him overly cautious and hesitant to take risks.
