The Stolen Mine 6
General Summary
Firstly, with Okhrudh returning, the group encountered an elderly orc, Jiquosio Aci, and his minotaur companion, Efapa Ijeo. He was very abrasive and called out Okhrudh for trying to be like the old orc berserkers from the clans. He explained that the clans were destroyed when they were forced to pick sides in the Agratia-Drilura war and were used as meat shields. The orc population and social structure were decimated. He accused Okhrudh of trying to impersonate the old ways and said he needed to prove himself against his minotaur.
Ohkrudh and Efapa fought until Efapa declared that Okhrudh had more orc qualities than Jiquosio and had won the fight. As a reward, he received some old orc vambraces that were used by the berserkers. They were then both convinced to join The Order of the Rosie and head to Larkmead to help train the army.
Continuing on the adventurers encountered a blockade of goblins. One hiding in the bushes revealed himself to have a pistol and the goblin at the back had a gatling gun. Virtuitous tried to rush the gatling gun but was fired at first, recieving minimal damage. The rest of the goblins were efficiently dispatched with good tactics from the group, only pausing for a second to hear one of the goblins shout that they needed to protect the tools from the Inventor Queen. Echo couldn't figure out the pistol, but he knew he had been shot with it, so he took it and the ammunition. Okhrudh was able to figure out the gatling gun, after a quick test fire, and they took that too.
Finally the group arrived in Swordgeham. This is the port city for Agratia as cargo makes its way up the river to the man made lake where Swordgeham sits. Unusually the port was empty, so the group went and spoke to the harbour master to find out what was going on. It turned out that something was destroying the ships as they come in to port, so boats with larger cargo were anchored downstream. They worked out a plan that involved getting a captain to agree to them using their ship as bait. The harbourmaster said he would be able to arrange a meeting of the ships' captains for noon the following day, as they were mostly all drunk. They should head to The Lake Shore to rest.
Upon entering the inn they encountered Kyren Dymia who called out the them.
