Spatengrove
Spatengrove may be the smallest territory in the Empire, but it plays a vital role to its survivability and overall health. Its sprawling farmlands and textile mills produce over 40% of the produce and clothing in the Empire, commodities it would not be able to survive without. Duke Janis Tyrell governs the territory with a fair and loyal hand from the Tyrell estate of Highburn Keep.

Geography
Spatengrove occupies a small portion of the Empire's north-west corner. Bordered by the Western Outlands, the terrain is flatter and suited to farming though deciduous forests dot the land. Like the neighboring Heartland, the Alabaster Peaks, provide a natural northern border to the Lumen Theocracy. The Espada River flows through Spatengrove from the Alabaster Peaks.
History
The War of Four Suits
Being an ever-loyal servant of the Empire, Duke Tyrell immediately rallied to the aid of Empress Eunisia Rosewood during the Brutoris rebellion and the subsequent War of Four Suits, granting the Crown exclusive access to their agricultural resources; a considerable advantage in a drawn-out conflict.
