House Tyrell
House Tyrell is the smallest of the Four Great Noble Houses with the least amount of influence. What it lacks in land and power, it makes up for with loyalty and heart. During the War of Four Suits, Duke Janis Tyrell immediately rallied to the aid of Empress Eunisia Rosewood, granting the Crown exclusive access to their agricultural resources; a considerable advantage during the war. Duke Tyrell governs the territory with a fair and loyal hand from the Tyrell estate of Highburn Keep.
Demography and Population
The inhabitants of Spatengrove are mostly working class civilians who till the land, and work the textile mills. They are responsible for producing over 40% of the produce and clothing in the Empire, commodities it would not be able to survive without.
Territories
House Tyrell governs Spatengrove, a small portion of the Empire's north-west corner. Bordered by the Western Outlands, the terrain is flatter and suited to farming though deciduous forests dot the land. Like the neighboring Heartland, the Alabaster Peaks, provide a natural northern border to the Lumen Theocracy. The Espada River flows through Spatengrove from the Alabaster Peaks before draining into the Adder.
Military
Because of Spatengrove's emphasis on farming and labor, House Tyrell's military is widely known to be the weakest in the Empire, a fact that Duke Janis has openly acknowledged.
Trade & Transport
Alongside crops and textiles, House Tyrell's many vineyards produce some of the highest quality wine in all of Seraphix, selling for astronomical prices across Ormodinia.
