Lornon

The Blackwater Company Knowledge:

UPDATE:
A crew of Blackwater Historians have landed to begin cataloging the ruins of the Iron Isles to truely capture the rich history of the people who have fought the scourge for decades.

History:

The settlement of Lornon dates back further than the establishment of the Iron Deep castle by Count Therodan Foras used as a fuedal settlement by his father establishing the first knight trained paladins of the Iron Isles decades before the traditional paladins were orchestrated. Surviving the war against the scourge between the years 23 ADP and 39 ADP the settlement is renown for its defensive capabilities as fields of gold wheat grass, and primal wildlife surround the settlement for miles offering a distinct advantage.   Nearly brought to collapse when the necropoli struck from the skies the settlement sits on top of an old gold mine that is honeycombed with tunnels and offshoots. The mines were transitioned into safe harborage during the bombardment of the scourge, the longest siege broken by the people of Lornon lasted for eight years.

Current State:

The settlement of Lornon is the largest reserve of survivors loyal to the Steward of the Iron Isles Lord Steward Harold Longview nearly approaching thirteen-thousand able bodied men and women. Harold Longview serves as the last leader of the loyalist party to the Ironbound.
