Persefani Hightower is the daughter of Stephanie Hightower, a commander in the Stormwind military, and Ferendel Dhaevnor, the legendary pirate king of the Free Seas. However, she was separated from her parents when the orcs invaded Stormwind and was raised as an orphan in Lordaeron until she was old enough to travel south.
As an adult, Persefani discovered her true parentage and began to learn more about her father, Ferendel Dhaevnor, and his vision of a region free from the tyranny of kings and empires. She was drawn to this vision and became interested in the affairs of the Free Seas.
Eventually, Persefani became more involved with The Table, the powerful council that oversees the Free Seas, and she developed her skills as a diplomat and negotiator. Her Paladin training also made her a formidable force in battle, and she is highly skilled with the use of the Light.
When her father eventually stepped down from his role as pirate king, Persefani was named as his successor, taking over as the leader of The Table and becoming known as the Pirate Queen of the Free Seas.
