Dolores Simm murders her parents as a result of voices in her head inspiring her to do so. She is arrested by the Konstat and is sentenced to treatment at The Radana Storme Institute.

Given her Elven heritage, Dolores Simm is never released from The Radana Storme Institute. She does however receive treatment, and over time develops a good relationship with everyone working there, so much so that she eventually manages to find a means by which to leave her cell freely. The guards are angered by this but eventually grow to accept her behaviour.
Dolores Simm begins treatment under the psychiatric Doctor Ada Arztin. Dolores finds herself able to open up to the Doctor and over time she begins to develop feelings for her, feelings which are eventually reciprocated.

Dolores is among the inmates present at the funeral of Doctor Jelena.

Dolores is woken up by the return of Ajax Wursor who is brought back to the cell neighbouring her own. The next day they both attend breakfast and Ajax attacks her believing that she intends to steal his Hunter's Pot stew. The room then erupts into violence as the inmates begin fighting amongst themselves. She attempts to separate herself from the violence and find Doctor Ada Arztin but in the confusion, she can not do so.
Eventually, the fight is broken up and she, as well as the rest of her fellow patients, are returned to their cells. Along the way, they discover the body of the inmate Reko hanged in his cell by a garotte.
Later that day she is witness to an altercation between Lokanth Wursor, Ajax Wursor, Russell Tideborn, and Sister Prudence and witnesses as Lokanth and Ajax are both beaten unconscious and dragged away by the guards.

Russell Tideborn approaches the cell of Dolores Simm and tries to convince her to join him in an escape scheme. She decides that she does not trust him and thinks it is a bad idea and she opens her cell and walks away, leaving Russell Tideborn stunned.
She walks, uninterrupted by the guards and makes her way to the office of Doctor Ada Arztin. The two speak and begin their appointment, until Doctor Ada Arztin attacks her. The two have a bloody fight, but it ends as she is stabbed to death by the woman she thought was her lover.
