Personal history

1st Spriarjeń 244 5E   Lokanth Wursor was born into a family of Half-Giants, one of many brothers and sisters. He lived in a Half-Giant tribe that dwelled in the jungles of Lidiavale.   13th Alwarjeń 248 5E   His family discovered a newborn Erlking named Ajax abandoned in the jungle of Lidiavale, left to die. Lokanth's family took the infant in and raised him as one of their own. As the two grew up, Lokanth and Ajax formed an unbreakable bond.   When Lokanth and Ajax came of age, Lokanth's passion for exploring the world led him to leave their tribe in search of new flora and fauna. Ajax, determined to protect his brother, followed him on this adventure. Their travels took them north and east, through many lands and places until they arrived at the city of Arkeluw.   15th Judarjeń 269 5E   It was in the city of Arkeluw that Lokanth and Ajax heard rumors of a serial killer loose in The Radana Storme Institute, a place where people were kept against their will. Ajax, outraged at the idea of robbing people of their freedom, got into an argument with the locals that soon turned into a fight. Sadly, Ajax was arrested by the Konstat and taken to the very Institute he had railed against.   20th Judarjeń 269 5E   Determined to free his brother, Lokanth took a job as a Groundskeeper at The Radana Storme Institute.   19th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   Lokanth Wursor attends the funeral of Doctor Jelena. He is both unsettled and resentful of The Groundskeeper who likewise attends the function.   20th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   During breakfast, Lokanth noticed that his brother, Ajax Wursor, had been returned to the cell block. Ajax appeared to be in a desperate state, exhibiting hunger, exhaustion, and aggression. He even snapped at Dolores Simm when she glanced at his food. Seizing the opportunity, Russell Tideborn implanted messages in Ajax's mind, feeding his paranoia and prompting him to lash out at a patient later nicknamed "the Victim."   The ensuing chaos led to Ajax being restrained by multiple guards. It was Lokanth who managed to calm his brother, employing his magical abilities to disguise himself as a guard, to go to him, soothe him, and slip a plant into Ajax's overalls. The sight of his brother's animalistic behaviour shocked Lokanth deeply.   Although the guards were ready to drag Ajax away, Captain Myron instructed them to return him to his cell. Meanwhile, outside the penitentiary, Lokanth, oblivious to the recent events, utilised a leaf he had planted on Ajax during the earlier incident in the Mess Hall. Using his magic, he sensed Ajax's direction and transformed into a spider, skillfully maneuvering through the cell's window. Inside, he found Ajax in a nervous and agitated state, pacing and muttering. While climbing the walls, Ajax's aggression resulted in furniture being flung around the room, nearly knocking Lokanth off his perch. Nonetheless, Lokanth maintained his disguise, vigilant for guards and orderlies.   Russell Tideborn paid a visit to Ajax's cell, intentionally provoking him to delve into his mind and manipulate his emotions. Amidst the ensuing chaos and madness, Ajax reached through the bars and grabbed Russell. In his attempt to break free, Russell inadvertently struck Lokanth with his magic, causing him to revert to his Half-Giant form. The sudden surge of violence pushed Ajax over the edge, triggering his transformation into a Lycanthropic form. Ajax's aggression escalated as he menacingly approached Russell, until Lokanth intervened, attempting to separate the two. Sister Prudence added to the fray, using her magic to blind all three individuals.   In the midst of the struggle, Russell exploited the unexpected arrival of Lokanth, using magic to communicate with the Lycan side of Ajax's mind, redirecting his anger towards his own brother. Ajax turned on Lokanth, and as Russell turned invisible and retreated, guards arrived to intervene.   Ultimately, both brothers were rendered unconscious by the guards and hauled away. Sister Prudence hurriedly administered healing magic to Lokanth before he was taken away, only to be forcibly shoved aside by the guards.   Throughout their ordeal, the guards treated the two brothers with brutality. Despite Lokanth's attempts to heal his sibling and Ajax's struggles to free himself, both were overpowered and beaten into unconsciousness once again.   21st Skrabarjeń 269 5E   Lokanth awakens within the confines of Doctor Walmdas Kluw's office. A conversation unfolds between the two, during which the doctor subtly hints at the unsettling possibility that Lokanth might be linked to the ongoing murders plaguing The Radana Storme Institute. This implication instills a growing fear in Lokanth's mind, as he becomes increasingly apprehensive that blame could be placed upon him. Adding to the tension, the doctor drops hints about his awareness of Ajax's relationship to Lokanth.   Leaving the doctor's office, Lokanth retreats to his cabin, where he discovers a letter provided by Sister Prudence. Contemplating its contents, he resolves to visit her the following day before retiring for the night. However, his slumber is disrupted by eerie dreams, a surreal realm where he repeatedly endures stabbings by various denizens of The Radana Storme Institute. Amidst the surreal violence, Lokanth manages to wrench the dagger from an assailant's grasp and counterattacks, inadvertently impaling none other than his own brother, Ajax. The nightmarish sequence jolts him awake, drenched in cold sweat.   22nd Skrabarjeń 269 5E   The following day arrives, and Lokanth makes his way to the chapel with the intention of meeting Sister Prudence. Unbeknownst to him, Russell Tideborn and Doctor Ada Arztin observe this rendezvous and collaborate on a covert scheme to infiltrate the chapel and eavesdrop on their conversation. Within the chapel's confines, Lokanth engages Sister Prudence in a discussion encompassing their growing suspicions and Lenni's desire to confer with Lokanth privately. Their deliberations yield a devised strategy, culminating in an agreement to reconvene at sunset.   Upon departing the chapel, Lokanth engages in conversation with Russell Tideborn. In the course of their dialogue, Russell discloses a detail from a book he cherishes that involves a Vampire named Radko, a victim of the enigmatic killer. Lokanth's attention is piqued by the inclusion of this extract in the book, prompting him to harbor stronger suspicions regarding Russell's potential involvement in the ongoing series of murders.   Simultaneously, a search is initiated throughout The Radana Storme Institute's grounds. Lokanth decides to delve into this investigation, ultimately uncovering the unsettling revelation that Ajax has gone missing. The guards embark on their own search of the psychiatric building. Amidst these unfolding events, Russell Tideborn positions himself inconspicuously within the washroom of the maximum security cell block.   As night falls, Lokanth returns to the Penitentiary, stealthily infiltrating the chapel. A strategic plan materializes between him and Sister Prudence, wherein she engineers a diversion while Lokanth transforms into a spider, maneuvering beneath a door to enter Lenni's cell. A conversation ensues between the two, during which Lenni alludes to the inception of the murders shortly after Doctor Walmdas's arrival at the asylum. Furthermore, Lenni offers Lokanth additional assistance, contingent on Lokanth's aid in liberating himself and his fellow natives from their predicament.   With a resolve in mind, Lokanth Wursor determines that his path to escaping the confines of the maximum security cell block involves a necessary wait within Lenni's cell, allowing him time to recharge his magical abilities. After an hour has elapsed, a mysterious figure materialises at the door, peering inside Lenni's cell. Lenni seems to be surprised, seemingly recognising the individual. However, the moment is abruptly shattered as an intense burst of light accompanied by a minor explosion reverberates through the cell. Acting swiftly, Lokanth shields himself from the force, enduring slight burns in the process. Tragically, Lenni bears the brunt of the magical onslaught, succumbing to an instantaneous demise.   Amidst the chaos that follows, Lokanth promptly reverts to his spider form. Stealthily shadowing a contingent of charging guards as they converge into the hallway, he manages to witness their apprehension of Sister Prudence, escorting her to the confines of the Wild Magic Cells. Retracing his steps, he returns to his cabin, only to discover himself under the watchful eye of The Groundskeeper, who remains stationed at his door, a silent challenge for Lokanth to make a move.   23rd Skrabarjeń 269 5E   As the night unfolds, Lokanth Wursor remains vigilant within his dwelling, his attention fixed on The Groundskeeper stationed just beyond his door. With the first light of dawn, weariness creeps in, ushering in disturbing visions of his brother's demise by the hands of various assailants. Just as he awakens from this torment, a knock resounds at his door, heralding the arrival of Russell Tideborn, who confides in Lokanth about his intentions. In this interval, Lokanth discerns that The Groundskeeper has vacated his post. In due course, Lokanth tends to the gardens encompassing the Medical Building, capitalizing on the opportunity to assume his spider form. Skillfully infiltrating Doctor Walmdas Kluw's office, he partakes in the act of eavesdropping.   Within the doctor's office, Lokanth, still in arachnid guise, becomes privy to the conversation between Sister Prudence and Doctor Walmdas, unearthing the killer's true identity and the existence of Subject Three. In this state of transformation, Lokanth also catches wind of Doctor Ada Arztin's arrival, who turns out to be Subject Two, the mastermind behind numerous deaths.   In a parallel development, Doctor Wiliam Wosow outfits Ajax Wursor with enchanted armor, dispatching him on a mission to eliminate Russell Tideborn. Ajax exits the Storme Mansion, traversing to the courtyard where a surprising encounter awaits him - Russell, nonchalantly propped against the Penitentiary wall. Across the courtyard, Lokanth emerges from the Medical Building, his sights fixed on his brother.   A shout from Lokanth pierces the air, but it's a futile cry. Enraged, Ajax charges towards Russell, who counters with arcane forces. Swiftly, Russell ascends the Penitentiary walls, compelling Ajax to give chase.   In a swift, determined rush, Lokanth morphs into the form of an ox, traversing the courtyard with haste. Upon reaching the Penitentiary, he reverts to his Half-Giant form, just in time to cast a hold person spell on his frenzied brother. Yet, Ajax breaks free, Sister Prudence's arrival coinciding with the moment. Accompanied by an escaped patient, Sir Bellinor, and a cadre of guards, Sister Prudence intervenes in the escalating situation. Lokanth explains his desperate attempt to restrain Ajax and discloses Doctor Ada's culpability.   Meanwhile, Ajax's realization of impending peril compels him to disengage from Russell. Descending the walls, he lands on solid ground, only to be swiftly overtaken by a swarm of guards and ranged spells. Gradually, his strength wanes, and he succumbs to unconsciousness, hovering on the precipice of death. Lokanth, resolute, rushes to his brother's side, steadfastly defending against the attacking guards and Sir Bellinor.   Valiant as he is, Lokanth eventually succumbs to the overwhelming assault. The climax arrives with both brothers lying unconscious on the ground. Seizing the opportunity, Russell infiltrates Sir Bellinor's consciousness, manipulating him by posing as the voice of his deity, Solenoir. With deft influence, Russell coerces Sir Bellinor into serving Solenoir's will. Consequently, Sir Bellinor slays Ajax, sparing Lokanth, deeming him free from his brother's corrupting influence.   24th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   In a state of barely clinging consciousness, Lokanth Wursor witnesses, with fading vision, the harrowing tableau of Sir Bellinor extracting his brother's heart. Struggling against his weakened state, Lokanth's mind distorts, reshaping Sir Bellinor's visage into a bewildering sequence of figures: Russell Tideborn, Doctor Walmdas, Sister Prudence, Doctor Ada, even his own kin. The chant-like prayers to Solenoir reverberating from the surrounding guards only stoke Lokanth's seething anger and insatiable thirst for retribution.   When Lokanth finally regains his faculties, a resolve takes root within him - vengeance against Sir Bellinor becomes his unwavering goal. He makes his way in to the Botanical Gardens, where he scours for flora to concoct a deadly poison. Within the now-ruined garden, a patch of Nightshade flowers beckons to him. As he commences crafting the lethal toxin, his path intersects with Nadia Storme, who becomes inquisitive about his intentions. After hearing his plan, she offers to join him, a proposition Lokanth readily accepts. Together, they depart the Botanical Gardens.   Morphed into the form of a bear, Lokanth charges into Storme Manor. Within, he confronts Warden Petro Storme, engaging in conversation with bound zombies seated around his dining table. The grievously injured Sylwester lies disregarded nearby. Nadia observes the scene with a mix of pity and shame. Pressing forward, they eventually arrive at the manor's library, encountering the lifeless bodies of Sir Bellinor's cult followers and the critically wounded Sir Bellinor himself, succumbing to vampiric wounds on his neck. Lokanth exacts his revenge, tearing out Sir Bellinor's heart with his claws. Amidst the tableau of retribution, Doctor Walmdas Kluw witnesses the unfolding events, with a look of regret etched upon his face.   Doctor Walmdas opens up to Lokanth, conceding the failure of his experiment and expressing remorse for what how his research has unfolded. Fuelled by rage, Lokanth charges at the doctor, launching furious strikes that Doctor Walmdas artfully eludes. In a moment of locked gazes, Lokanth discerns his own failures mirrored within the doctor's eyes, prompting a transformation back into his Half-Giant form.   Undeterred, Lokanth launches another assault, only to be thwarted once again by Doctor Walmdas's agile evasion. A flash of crimson appears in the doctor's eyes before Lokanth is plunged into blindness, at the mercy of Doctor Walmdas's skills. In his final moments, the doctor offers a final apology before preparing to deliver a lethal blow. Nadia Storme intervenes, addressing Lokanth as her father, imploring him to cease the conflict. A battle ensues between them.   Meanwhile, Sister Prudence rushes to Storme Manor, ingesting the poison herself. She enters the library where Doctor Walmdas is embroiled in a brutal struggle with his daughter. Both have undergone a transformation, featuring ebony hair, crimson eyes, and pallid skin. Disguising her true intent, Sister Prudence feigns interest in Doctor Walmdas's research, luring him to bite her with his vampiric fangs and imbibe her poisoned blood. As Doctor Walmdas succumbs to the trap, the poison takes hold. Lokanth bears witness as shadows envelop him, and as Sister Prudence succumbs to the poison's fatal grip.   As the sun rises, Doctor Ada Arztin and Lokanth Wursor would successfully track down the enchanted mirror, a tool integral to Doctor Walmdas Kluw's experiments. Their concerted efforts culminate in the mirror's destruction, seemingly breaking Doctor Ada Arztin's curse.   However, despite the apparent resolution, Lokanth Wursor's inner turmoil persists. Shrouded in guilt and unable to confront his family or the inhabitants of Lidiavale, he opts to seek solace within the seclusion of a remote grotto nestled within the woodlands of Lower Mastoria. Time passes, but the grip of his inner Demons grows only stronger. Inevitably, the same compulsions that once plagued Doctor Ada Arztin begin to tighten their hold on Lokanth Wursor as well. Consumed by this malevolent force, Subject Three resurfaces within civilisation's fold, beginning a violent spree of bloodshed and terror.
